Held each year the weekend prior to Easter, the Trailer Boat Fishing Tournament has grown to be amongst the most popular family fishing tournaments in Australia while staying true to its original ideal of making anglers of all ages and skill levels welcome.

These days, you can expect to join around 1300 competitors and 500 boats to compete for over $100,000 in species and lucky draw prizes. It is the first ever fishing tournament for around 50% of competitors each year, and people travel from all over Australia for the weekend.

Race to Port Stephens in two feeder races...from April 12 to April 18. Family friendly, plenty of fun for the whole family both on and off the water. A Sailing Regatta with something for everyone. watch yachts of all shapes and sizes start racing each day from d"Albora Marina in Nelson Bay and sail Port Stephens Marine Park. Spectators can observe from the breakwall and also board a Dolphin or Whale Watch boat for a better vantage point.

Tastes of the Bay Food,Wine & Jazz Festival

Spread across the d'Albora Marinas in Nelson Bay, Apex Park (Nelson Bay CBD) and Nelson Bay Foreshore, the      Festival is the major culinary event in Port Stephens, featuring food from local restaurants, great wine selections from popular Hunter Valley and local Port Stephens wineries and fabulous Jazz Music. Cooking demonstrations by award winning chefs are becoming a big part of this festival.
