The 2010 Port Stephens Whale Festival includes an extensive entertainment program with whale cruises, photography competition, live music, performances by local choirs and dance groups, roving entertainment, arts & craft tent, interactive stands with information on whales and the environment and loads more!

13th-14th November 2010 Tastes Of The Bay Food Wine & Jazz Festival  Venue: Nelson Bay Foreshore Spread across the d'Albora Marinas in Nelson Bay, Apex Park (Nelson Bay CBD) and Nelson Bay Foreshore, the      Festival is the major culinary event in Port Stephens, featuring food from local restaurants, great wine selections from popular Hunter Valley and local Port Stephens wineries and fabulous Jazz Music. Cooking demonstrations by award winning chefs are becoming a big part of this festival.

Monthly Markets

Anna Bay Community Markets 

Held 1st Saturday every month in the Gateway Family Presbyterian Church - Grounds and hall, 43 Gan Gan Road, Anna Bay, 8.30am-2.00pm. Craft, clothing, books, plants, tools, household & auto accessories etc..

Nelson Bay Craft Markets 

Held the 1st, 3rd & 5th Sundays of every month in Neil Carroll Park (Fly Point), Nelson Bay.

Tomaree Markets

 Held the 2nd & 4th Sundays every month at the Tomaree Sports Complex, Salamander Bay.
