as they pass the port during their annual migration. Cruises daily or you can see them from the coast.

Shoal Bay Food & Wine Festival
 
Come along and experience tantalising local produce from the Hunter Valley and Port Stephens. Sample wine from Hunter Valley Wineries, indulge in fresh local produce straight from the supplier or carefully prepared by experienced local chefs and be entertained with live Jazz concerts and kids entertainment all while enjoying the stunning views of Shoal Bay, Port Stephens.

Festival of the Sea

The 2012 Festival celebrates the ocean and everything it brings to the Port Stephens area.  Held across the October long weekend, with lots of kids activities, whale and dolphin watching cruises, oyster shucking competitions, live entertainment, beach activities and lots more.

Tastes Of The Bay Food Wine & Jazz Festival 

Spread across the d'Albora Marinas in Nelson Bay, Apex Park (Nelson Bay CBD) and Nelson Bay Foreshore, the      Festival is the major culinary event in Port Stephens, featuring food from local restaurants, great wine selections from popular Hunter Valley and local Port Stephens wineries and fabulous Jazz Music. Cooking demonstrations by award winning chefs are becoming a big part of this festival.

 

 

 

Monthly Markets

Anna Bay Community Markets 

Held 1st Saturday every month in the Gateway Family Presbyterian Church grounds and hall, 43 Gan Gan Road, Anna Bay, 8.30am-2.00pm. Craft, clothing, books, plants, tools, household & auto accessories etc..

 

Nelson Bay Craft Markets 

Held the 1st, 3rd & 5th Sundays of every month in Neil Carroll Park (Fly Point), Nelson Bay.

Tomaree Markets

 Held the 2nd & 4th Sundays every month at the Tomaree Sports Complex, Salamander Bay.
